GREAT NECK, N.Y., July 30, 2009 -- A roof collapse at a Middle Neck Road apartment complex forced the evacuation of dozens of residents Thursday afternoon. Volunteers from the American Red Cross in Nassau County responded to provide relief.

With the increased use of electricity, it becomes increasingly harder for utility companies to keep up with the demand--often resulting in blackouts.
