MINEOLA, N.Y., Sept. 12, 2007--With today’s deadly earthquake in Indonesia, many Long Islanders will certainly ask how they can help those affected. At this time, there have been no requests for aid by the Indonesian Red Cross; however, the American Red Cross is closely monitoring the situation through 15 delegates who were already in the nation as part of the Tsunami Recovery Program. If asked, the American Red Cross is prepared to mobilize relief supplies and financial assistance.

Nassau Red Cross Needs Public Support
