N. BELLMORE, N.Y., Aug. 29, 2009 -- Fire gutted a Siems Court home Aug. 28, leaving a family of five homeless. Volunteers from the American Red Cross in Nassau County responded to provide relief.

According to volunteer Linda Cohn, the family was provided temporary shelter in a nearby motel.
