BALDWIN, N.Y., March 15, 2010 -- The American Red Cross shelter at the Baldwin School District Office, 960 Hastings Street, Baldwin has been closed.

"Fortunately, no one appeared to need our services tonight," said Frank Cassano, CEO of the Nassau Red Cross. "I am grateful to our volunteers who gave up their evening to help, as well as the county's CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) for their assistance."
